The training provided useful platform to build the capacity of the university administration for financial autonomy through various initiatives including revenue enhancement and fund generation. The program included features of the framework for financial autonomy, as well as, better financial management, guidelines for endowment funds, internal and external audits, and tax matters. It was an interactive program and all participants keenly contributed to the discussion in all sessions. The practical applicability of the concepts was of prime interest to the participants.

This Programme was meant for the management of researchers of higher education institutions serving in Pakistan. It is of immense pleasure to share that the research group of Rawalpindi Women University comprising faculty/researchers of FJWU, AIOU and Punjab Agriculture department got first position in research proposal competition among participating universities from Punjab, KPK and Islamabad participating in the capacity-building program
