The Conference was to initiate discussion on the core social issues, lying dormant in the era of rapid progress. It was a multi-disciplinary conference, aimed to cover multiple themes placed under the umbrella of Humanities and Social Sciences. It provided a premier platform for researchers, practitioners and scholars, across the disciplines, to share their lived experiences, observations and reflections in the fields of Art and Aesthetics, Political Science, English Literature and Language and Psychology. It was intended to manoeuvre discourses on the innovations, trends, and concerns along with practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the Contemporary World.

The Chief Guest of the conference was Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, Chairman-Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC). The guest speakers included; Ms. Sidra, Program Manager, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Pakistan; Prof. Dr. Jahanzeb Khan, VC-FATA University and  Prof. Dr. Anis Ahmed, VC-Riphah International University, Islamabad.

There were 850 participants including faculty members, researchers and students from different Universities/HEIs and research Organizations who participated in the conference. A total of 125 papers were presented out of which 78 were oral and 37 were poster presentations in 10 parallel sessions.

The conference covered a wide array of topics in Physical, Chemical, Biological and Mathematical Sciences. It enlightened the contemporary advances of diverse fields of science to give rise to new horizons of research for further promotion of research culture in academia across the country. It also provided an opportunity for the national and international scientific community to exchange ideas and explore possibilities for future collaborations. The event offered a platform for researchers from different areas of sciences to exchange ideas of common interest. Prof. Dr. Masoom Yasinzai, Rector-International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) was the chief guest of the conference. The guest speakers included; Prof. Dr. Safia Ahmed, VC-Sheikh Benazir Bhutto Women University, Peshawar; Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akram Shaikh DG-PASTIC and Prof. Zabta Khan Shinwari, UNESCO Laureate.
