Aim and Scope of the Journal

The Sustainable Business and Economic Review (SBER) is a multidisciplinary international, open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal with the foremost emphasis to publish original research papers and short communications. Sustainable Business and Economic Review (SBER) is the official Journal of the Department of Business Administration, RWU, Pakistan.

The aim is to publish novel research articles by business, economic and social sciences academicians. SBER will be bridging collaboration among key research areas of sustainability, business, and economy. In the modern time period, it is unthinkable for a society to advance without making a mark in the fields of business and economy. The research in these areas helps answer countless questions regarding the complex and dynamic nature of business in contemporary times. These fields are evolving rapidly with the introduction of new technologies, the growing size of businesses, and unprecedented events which involve new challenges and questions. Additionally, the new era of business and economy which directly present an impact on all disciples of knowledge has met a new challenge of retaining sustainability.

Sustainability is relatively a new term; however, its roots are connected equally to the ast and future. The notion that business and economy need to flourish and answer all relevant research questions within the sphere of sustainability is enough to emphasize the significance of this research field. The conviction of recent research has iterated that sustainability is not only about the conservation of economic and financial resources, in addition, it embeds a range of issues within its domain, such as social equity, corporate governance, environmental health among many others. Future research cannot thrive without the exploration of sustainability and its implications for the business, economy, and several other disciplines. Therefore, SBER will provide a platform to articles that will profoundly reflect upon several contemporary concerns, and progressive solutions of management, economics and social sciences under the domain of sustainability.

The scope of SBER will be broad and will attract interdisciplinary research. Moreover, SBER will encourage theoretical as well as empirical papers and review articles.
