Dr. Nasir Mehmood, Assistant Director ORIC won a very competitive “International Travel Award” worth of 1500$ for the Year 2022 from the Office of International Programs (OIP), American Phytopathological Society (APS) to present his research work. The travel award also provided Dr. Nasir with a remarkable opportunity to represent Rawalpindi Women University at “Plant Health 2022” held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA from 6-10 August 2022. The “Plant Health 2022” theme was Warming Up to Change, which will explore the profound changes in plant health research, education, and engagement driven by transformations in climate, technology, and society.
